With the deletion of nearly everybody though the region's population fell to 1 billion by December 17th, 2004, and with the deletion of Bromels the region's population fell to 76 million on January 18th, 2005. By January 30th, 2005, the population had almost tripled to 218 million people. As of May 2nd, 2005, the population had reached 3.6 billion people.
