The leader of the nation is a man known as Dark Lord Malak who lives in the city of Malakite (population: 108 million). Malak is a former apprentice of Dark Lord Revan's and spends his time trying to help out the underdogs in the hope that they'll ally with him and with their help he'll be able to overpower and destroy his old master.

Basics

Devils Children is currently a New York Times Democracy with excellent civil rights, a strong economy, and a political system that's so free it sets a world benchmark. Crime is totally unknown thanks to their progressive social policies and world class police force.

Recent News

After months of being a member in the UN, Devils Children has just recently announced their resignation from that august body. In response to questioning about why they'd resigned, a spokesman for Dark Lord Malak replied that the nations of the UN had become boring to his master and that they were seeking new ways to create international havoc.

Statistics

At 100%, Devils Children has the highest tax rate in the region of DeKalb. The nation has a population of 2.132 billion people, making it the fourth largest in its region. Two other nations-Lord Revan and Annaronami-are tied with the nation for having the least crime.

Early History

Devils Children was founded when Dark Lord Revan gave his apprentice, Dark Lord Malak, a small country in order to keep track of events in the Internet Infidels region while Revan moved to Stormfront. For a while Malak was content watching and influencing events that unfolded in the region but gradually it became more and more inactive and many nations ceased to exist. Malak became bored and requested permission to come to Stormfront and join his master. Revan accepted the request and Malak had a fleet of ‘copters take his country away.

Later History

In Stormfront Malak and his country, Devils Children (named for the DC part of AC/DC), mostly just sat back and let things unfold. When Revan decided to start his own region and sent Count Fett to maintain diplomatic relations in Stormfront Malak stayed behind for a few days to instruct the Count before leaving for DeKalb as well. When the Cold War erupted between Chaote and KIAZ Malak attempted to gain more power by mediating between the two forces but it came to naught when KIAZ ceased to exist in a single instant. Since then Malak has attempted to increase the politcal and civil freedoms of his people in the hope that one day his country will become the freest and greatest nation in all of DeKalb and he’ll be able to overtake his master.

The End

After the collapse of Chaote, Malak saw a golden opportunity for seizing some extra land at virtually no cost so he sent out his armies. While the armies were gone the people were panicking about the collapse of their neighbor. The panick spread and soon riots were occuring in all the cities. Without any militay to put down the disturbance and with the police joining the dissidents rather than trying to keep order the cities were put to the torch. Malak was killed and Devils Children was declared a People's Republic-all this in less than 24 hours. With all the infrastructure destroyed and all the major leaders murdered the country soon crumbled to dust.

Or Not...

A magician from far out in the wilderness came and, for reasons unknown, resurrected the Dark Lord. The Dark Lord sent him out to Chaote to resurrect his master and set about restoring his nation and gaining back his power. Many died in the civil wars to follow but Malak and his supporters emerged successful and proceeded to become a powerhouse once more within the region.
