DLE is the ruling country of the DLE Empire and where the main people, Sarkarasetans, place most of their pride. Besides Sarkarasetans, the only other sentient species native to the area are AIs, which are recognized as living beings and citizens under DLE law, and dragons, which are also the national animal and, despite not being citizens, generally given more wide birth than most people give tanks and nuclear missiles. A few Balroggans, humans, and Romulans can be seen in DLE streets, but these are usually tourists or ambassadors.
DLE currently owns the planets Terran (homeworld), Terrator, and Terrasot. Terran and Terrator are settled and have orbital defenses.
