The Protestant Prussian Czardom of Derscon is a massive, devout nation, notable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 2.241 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

HISTORY
UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Government
The Government is entirely rested in the Crown, granted by Divine Right by the Grace of God. It is currently occupied by the third generation of the Rekjyavich-Andropov House, which is a merger between the Rekjyavich and the Andropov House. The old House of Romanov was exiled to Scodson in the Second Catholic War.
The Government has always been a monarchy up until the current Czar began the establishement of the Reichskongress. Development on that has gone no where, though.
The Government has gone through many changes through civil wars and family disputes, the most famous being the Sorcerer Wars and the Catholic Wars. The Sorcerer Wars where when most of the Andropov House was excecuted for being sorcerers by the Catholic Romanov House, and the SCW was when the Romanov House was finally exiled to Scodson.
Society
Life in Derscon has been through its changes.
During its founding, with the Andropov House occupying the throne, most people were practicing sorcerers, and were welcoming almost everyone into their nation. When the Catholics finally outnumbered the sorcerers, the Sorcerer Wars began, which is when Nicholas Romanov led an army of Catholics and overthrew the Romanovs. Sorcery was outlawed, and the established Inquisition basically eliminated all but a few of the Andropovs and other sorcerers. It also attempted to cast out non-Catholics. Eventually, the Protestants outnumbered the Catholics. The Rekjyavich house then led a revolt agianst the Romanovs, sparking the Catholic Wars. Eventually, they were overthrown, and the Rekjavich House took over. With the Catholics still skirmishing with the government and attacking the Andropov House, the Rekjyavich and Andropov houses combined, and the Romanovs were finally cast out.
Economy
The Economy usually consisted of Arms Manufacturing in one form or another as a major industry, as Derscon has always been a military nation, seen by the fact it is run by a giant military base.
The nation of Derscon is entirely self-sufficient, relying on no one to survive. Luxury items are imported, such as foregin cars, etc, but high tarrifs are placed on them to level the playing field, or in some cases, insure people buy Dersconi goods. The Greater Prussian Emprie maintains a strong Free Market Policy within itself, though, in which all Greater Prussian States must have a Free Trade system amongst the other Greater Prussian States.
The economy was virtually non-existant due to the multiple civil wars for many years until the Rekjyavich House finally overthrew the Romanovs. Since then, the Economy continued to boom.
Although it has had many slumps, no real depression ever came across Derscon. The Average economy was "Thriving" during its early stages, but it slumped to "Very Good" for awhile during the Hutu Wars. Upon those ending, the economy rose to "Frightening" and stayed there ever since.
