Digital Technologies was Pilot's top military producer, responsible for more than 70% of the nations military equipment. After it went bankrupt in the stock market crash of 2003, Pilot bought the company and sold it to a private group of investors who poured start-up funds into the company and renamed it Xenon Military Instruments. XMI has replaced all of its predecessors equipment and made itself more than 40 trillion dollars worth of profits in one realtime year, this including profits made by trade with allied nations.

XMI remains one of NationStates five most profitiable companies.
