The Constitutional Federal Union of Pilot is a massive, economic stronghold of a capitalist nation with a population of around five billion people.

Founded in early 2001 (realtime), Pilot has enjoyed a rocket boost in economic performance, coupled with easing restrictions on personal and political freedom. In its first unification, much of its history has involved its attempts to reform the UnAPS alliance and Haven, the region where most of the member nations reside. Its directly-elected legislature and judicial system shared power with an executive branch led by President David Mitchell, elected as the Democratic Party candidate in 2004. The first Pilotan union was dissolved when a national referendum to secede passed on January 11, 2005.

Pilot re-emerged in March of 2007, when six of the original twelve states of the first unification signed the Constitutional Federal Union Pact on March 1, 2007 (realtime). They re-organized as the Constitutional Federal Union of Pilot and elections for federal and state offices are scheduled for April 1.

Pilot is known for having one of the world's best education systems, consistently scoring in the 99.5th percentile in UN intelligence surveys. Pilot's major domestic priorities include education and commerce and its foreign policy is mainly non-interventionist.
