Its compassionate, hard-working, cynical population of 380 million are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Law & Order, although Education and Commerce are on the agenda. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 60%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology, Soda Sales, and Pizza Delivery industries.
The institution of marriage is held sacred and strictly enforced, the nation's gigantic air force is both respected and feared, women earn less than half the salary of men if they can even find a job, and pristine wilderness has been trashed in the quest for cheaper oil. Dragonicale's national animal is the Anthro Dragon, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Dragonics. Not much else is known about Dragonicale, and this is mostly blamed on a lazy public relations department.
