Currently the oldest organization in the region of Eastern Europe, the Eastern European Commonwealth of Nations or EECN is also considered by many the most stable and sensible of the alliances. It was founded in response to the growing power of the Kiev Pact. It is an alliance that wishes to uphold democratic ideals and ensure that people throughout Eastern Europe get the freedoms and rights that they deserve. The EECN is a primarily defensive organisation that aims to defend the sovereignty of its member-states, give mutual assistance, and achieve economic integration.

Membership

Its original members, forming it in 27 April 2003, were the following: Holy Empire of Antai, Confederacy of Antharia, Commonwealth of Cavnessia, Confederacy of Cossack States, Federation of Chodkiewiczia, Free Land of Litija, Dominion of Michaelvallia, People's Republic of Qabrestân. The Principality of the Cassadine Islands joined the original roster shortly afterwards, in 2 May 2003. Over the years, membership radically changed, with none of the original signatories either existing or remaining active anymore; over the course of years, new nations took their place, such as the Orange Free State and the Hellenic Confederation.

The EECN, as a defensive organisation, has not participated in many conflicts during its history, and none of the wars it dispatched troops at were of offensive nature. The list below includes conflicts an official EECN force has been dispatched at, in chronological order (from oldest to most recent.)

Wars

  • Aegean War: Following the invasion of the Cassadine Islands by Attica Greece, the EECN member-states dispatched a large force that, in cooperation with military from the Union of Power, defeated Attican Greek forces and restored Cassadine sovereignty. During this conflict, the Cretan People's Republic declared its independence from the Cassadine Islands and later itself joined the EECN.
  • Vhorenian War: Also known as the Barcelon War or War of Barcelon, this conflict occurred after the NBC member-state Barcelon, then known as Balspania, invaded Vhorenia, an EECN member-state. The EECN (and especially Crete and Modravia) dispatched forces in defence of Vhorenia, in cooperation with the Polish Confederation, Capital Praetor and Vexia. The war ended with Barcelon's occupation by the victors, who soon divided it for themselves. However, no EECN country gained territory from the conflict.
