Government: the Emperor runs most affairs, and over-rides the board of directors only when they are making bad decisions. the board of directors manages the populace and the beuracracy grows. The Board of Directors is now an uncorrupted political machine.

MILITARY

The Organization of the military is in Divisions. There are 3 classes of divisions for the purposes of Epsilon Andromedaes Military. The Infantry divisions, for small tasks and conquerings, the Armoured divisions, for slightly stronger forces, and the Naval divisions, for the wars that face the EA. Military service IS compulsory in the EA, so our forces are strong. Also, experimental weapons sattelites and orbital stations have gone into the design stage. War from above is becoming a reality.

Economy: The former currency the Standard was changed recently to the Kheop, in order to remove Radonican influence from modern society. the Kheop was the currency of Antient times, and has been readopted. another change recently from paper money to digital chips, thus reducing the ability for crimes to take place. the chips are placed on key chains, plugged into a receiver, security code plugged in, amount withdrawn, and the chip removed.

Epsilon Andromedae is in a fairly odd position globally. Its in such a position that temperatures can become fairly arctic, probably helping the fact is the industrial waste being released into the atmosphere. Again, the industrial gas and etc also contribute to unseasonable high temperatures.

History

THE FIRST AGES Modern Radonicus (Currently the immigration center for Epsilon Andromedae) was previously a domination of the faction known as Atlas. Long Ago, Atlas began expansion. Radonicus was the first Island to be colonized by the Atlas. They soon went on to conquer and colonize much of the region. Unfortunatley, Internal struggles and Economic difficulty made it impossible to maintain, and the Atlas Empire erupted in Civil War. The Radonicans, a Loyalist faction to the Atlas, were isolated from the rest of the Region when other larger factions dominated the naval passages. Radonicus persued Isolationist policy until the official declaration of Radona as a province. At that point, Our Records are incomplete.

THEYST began when the super empire, Radonicus, ended. An increasingly paranoid Emperor Sebastian XII turned his troops on the state. The Rebels of the Old Republic, under the banners of the old Houses, were providing increasing resistance to his iron fist. Just as the military began the bombardment of Radonicus, the close by island province of Radona set off 20 ships. several for each House of the Old Republic. Several houses were lost to a storm, and the remaining houses landed on the shores of what is now the Industrial Underground Empire of Epsilon Andromedae.

Radonicus has recently been refounded, and is now being re colonized by Epsilon Andromedae

THE COLLECTIVE AGES

After the remaining ships landed on different parts of the island, a series of City States were established with pieces of the ship, some of the trees, and industrial supplies brought over from the dying Radonicus. The houses were as follows, in order of size. Faas, Retinnae, Theyst, Johen, Tork, Zosex, Argonst, Telk, and Neo-Telluri.

KINGDOM of THEYST I

Declared to be in existence (as the Kingdom of Theyst) by king Kreig I, after conquering the Houses of Johen and Tork. During the battles, Faas and Retinnae established an alliance. During the following battles, these were the rulers:

Tylus the first ended Theyst I in the Tylus-Prekent agreement, ending the hostilities.

AGE OF REASON

Inbetween Theyst I and Theyst II, there was an Age of Reason. Philosophical and Scientific advancements were made, and the Epsilon Andromedae religious sect was founded. Rulers during this time period were Javis II, Tylus II, Kreig IV, and Kreig V.

HOLY EMPIRE OF THEYST II

Founded when Emperor Javis III (an Epsilon Andromedaen preist) after an alliance with the Prime Minister of Retinnae. Retinnae abandoned its former ally Faas when they changed their name from Faas to Radonicus. the Emperors were as follows:

The Holy Empire ended when Kreig made some poor economical moves, and the government collapsed on itself.

THE DARK AGES

Seeing as this is the first time Theyst collapsed on itself, the Dark Ages followed. Several poor leaders. Starting with Kreig VI, who arranged an alliance with a shady group known as Alondo. After a major war, Alondo was Crushed, and Kreig VII was smart enough to destroy all evidence of association. After that Kreig VIII, Benta II, and Zyote I were just incompetent, and not very intelligent.

EMPIRE of THEYST III

Theyst III was founded under the charismatic leadership of Norde I, after making an agreement between Theyst-Retinnae and Radonicus. By now the Epsilon Andromedae religious sect had considerable power in government. Theyst III was led by Founder: Norde I, Zyote II, and Benta III. This was the second shortest (but most prosperous) time period in Theysts history. By now much of Theysts history was lost due to poor archiving and fires. Archeological finds had begun, and some controversial items were dug up, such as the origin of the name Radonicus, as well as the first King of Theyst. Benta III was put out of power during the first Civil War.

CIVIL WARS

A series of civil wars were fought over the discovery of the oppressive homeland Radonicus. Many people were angry at Norde I, and therefore the government for allying with them. Many disagreed. The EA religious people tried to moderate the tensions, and eventually all hell broke loose.

The third Civil war took place over whether or not Kreig I was really the first king. During a political campaign, a misconception was had that Tylus I was the first king. People started believing this, and another civil war erupted. Eventually, the tensions subsided, due to the assassination of the leaders of both sides of the arguments. The young Alius Incorporated was believed to be the cause of this. It is not known who ruled during this time period.

EMPIRE of THEYST IV

Theyst IV was founded in agreement between Alius Executives and an International agreement. Tylus IV founded it, but was soon found to be oppressive and evil. Several High Treason cases were filed against him by the International Alliance known as the LKE. He was openly assassinated by an Alius Operative.

THEYST EMPIRE of EPSILON ANDROMEDAE

Founded by Tylus V, an affiliate of the Epsilon Andromedae religious sect, who figured it was not in the best interests to found the Fifth Theyst Empire yet. Tylus V is still in power, and is leading the people in a prosperous time, and Alius Incorporated has expanded to have a small fighting force, and a hand in most major industries, and most minor industries as well.

THEYST V
Theyst fives existance was breif, and unimportant. Tylus V died of natural causes, and his grandson, Kreig IX, inherited the throne. Under Kreig IX, Theyst joined the Federation, with THEYST VIwhich was a terrible mistake, and Kreig IX became assassinated. Tylus VI then took the throne, and is one of the best Emperors Theyst has had.

NEW RADONICAN EMPIRE

During the transition between Theyst V and Theyst VII, a radical group rebelled and gained control of the government. the New Radonican Empire was very shortlived, because the radical views of its leaders caused conflict in the land.

VESN (VICTOR ECHO SIERRA NOVEMBER)

The Current Administration of Epsilon Andromedae is an Intelligence Organization known as the Alius Coalition. the Elite Members, who call themselves the Imperial Architects, are veritably invisible. No records can be found as to members of the Society of Imperial Architects.

The VESN has been taking hold, however, and recent developments in the military Exploits of Warzone Sandbox have been successful, and the small yet effective army is very efficient and quick.


New Byzantine Empire

VESN collapsed due to inefficient leadership, and was replaced by a new form of leadership. Several attempts at establishing a homeland took place. The Incompetent leadership of Emperor Andronicus I led to the formation of a coup d'etat. The coup never took place, as the Emperor signed the New Byzantine Empire off to the rivals, the Land of Kings and Emperors. The Red Liberty Alliance intervened on behalf of one province, and assistance from the World of Rocket Scientists resulted in the capture of Isles of Arden. The Isles were lost recently, when the Founder returned and evicted Byzantine Troops. The Rocket Scientists have all but abandoned our cause. With the Advent of the New Byzantine Empire in Theyst, more freedoms are being given to the people. A new leaf has been turned for the new Byzantine Empire.

With the collapse of the VESN government, the Alius Coalition fell as well. The Alius Coalition was the brain-child of Alius Incorporated, which had a multi-faceted monopoly in most every facet of VESN. Alius went bankrupt during the changeover, and the smaller competitors began to take charge. the Atlas Incorporated, titled for the origins of Radonicus, began to grow. Atlas has a Corporate army of considerable size, and a more focused monopoly. Atlas is the primary weapons manufacturer for Epsilon Andromedae, and will continue to be for some time.

NOTES ABOUT EPSILON ANDROMEDAE

Shortly after much of the forests went extinct and wars took hold of Theyst, most of society has moved underground. These cities and factories are extensive networks of walkways and rooms, but there ARE open domed areas, where fresh air is let in, and nature takes its course. Above ground, much of the land is a desert, with few buildings topside. The Emperors palace is one of the few buildings that has been and remains topside, though the basement has been converted to access down to the lowest level of EA's Underground. Several ghost cities remain, though recently construction projects began on a topside commercial sanctuary. Tourism in Epsilon Andromedae can be incredibly confusing, so it is reccomended you are taken on a guided tour by one of the Tour guides, or by one of the residents.
