European Treaty Organization
From NSwiki, the NationStates encyclopedia.
The European Treaty Organization is a mutual defence pact in the European Union. Not sanctioned by the regional authorities, although it has been called upon by the European President Marcus Tristan (who also attempted to dissolve the European Union Security Council in its favour), the organisation is staunchly opposed by the Soviet Union, whose leader, President Gennady Zyuganov has called 'the European Terrorist Organisation' in the past.
