The Tribal Lands of Farfel is a massive, devout nation, renowned for its complete absence of social welfare. Its compassionate population of 1.494 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Religion & Spirituality, and Defence. A robust private sector is dominated by the Beef-Based Agriculture industry.

Crime is relatively low, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Farfel's national animal is the chimpanzee, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the saucy jack.

Government

Farfel is ruled by a leader the people call "Sakima" who, by their courageous exploits, wisdom, or other abilities and qualities, win the respect and support of followers , who vote them in. Once voted in the Sakima serves for life and can never be removed unless he breaks a law, is in a bad health way, or he proves himself not able to lead anymore. The Sakima gives advise rather than orders; a council of leading men, (of which the Sakima is head of) make decisions. the Sakima can, though, refuse an issue and everyone votes whether to pass it or pitch it. They have a complicated system of laws. If one is broken, the council votes to abolish the lawbreaker from Farfel or imprison them. The jails are indoors, with holes in the ground that have cage covers over them.
