First Drunken Pagan Weirdos Federal Election

The First Drunken Pagan Weirdos Federal Election was held on April 1, 2007. Voter turnout was roughly 55%, far higher than any given prediction at the time, leading several prominent scientists and researchers to declare that rampant overuse of drugs and alcohol aren’t so detrimental to voter turnout after all.

Five major parties entered candidates in the election: the Intoxicated Socialist Party (ISP), the Drunken Pagan Communist Party (DPCP), the Pulp Fiction Was A Great Movie Party (PFP), the Mario Party, and the Party for a Capitalist and Fiscally Responsible Government (PCG).

Vien Ai Chan of the ISP was elected the nation’s first President, and the ISP took control of the Drunken Pagan Assembly (DPA) The ISP formed a coalition with the PFP and the Mario Party to become the ruling party.

Overall

  • Intoxicated Socialist Party: 36.4%
  • Drunken Pagan Communist Party: 24.4%
  • Pulp Fiction Was A Great Movie Party: 20%
  • Mario Party: 12.2%
  • Party for a Capitalist and Fiscally Responsible Government: 1.1%
  • Other minor parties received roughly 5.9% of the votes cast.
