Fjord City was the third largest city in Ceorana, after Tzatzing and New Boston, before it had to be vacated due to radiation.
Physical Appearance
Fjord City is renowned for its complete lack of pavement, since cars are banned. The streets are made out of grassy quick-draining dirt. Water quickly seeps through into a treatment system, which makes it into drinking water. The grass also absorbs water, so as not to get shoes too wet. Fjord City's major construction material is wood, even for the five-story office buildings.
Fjord City is situated on the Ceo Fjord, the gateway into the Pacific Sound, which makes Fjord City Ceorana's main port.
Transportation
Fjord City did a lot of shipping, but for people, the main method of transportation was the monorail, which connects all sides of the city, from the capitol to the port and from the east side of the city to the west. The monorail had regular stops, some of which were not stopped at on express trains.
Organization and Layout
Fjord City was very pedestrian-friendly. Places to get food and other goods and services are intermingled with houses, making walking easy and everything very convenient. The city was basically organized into two halves, on the east and west sides of the fjord.
