General Overview
The Republic of Flashes is a huge, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its strong anti-business politics. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 319 million are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.
The enormous government juggles the competing demands of Public Transport, Law & Order, and the Environment. The average income tax rate is 30%, but much higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising fourteen-year-old boys selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.
Most of the nation's wealthy aristocrats are dentists, gun ownership is compulsory, the government funds large training centres to turn blammed flashs into functioning members of society, and prime commercial land is being swamped with archaeological teams. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Flashes's national animal is the blammed flash, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the pound.

It started out in a small chunk of America. Flashes was born and the founder of Flashes, Samuel J P Portaal won the Flashes Leader 4ever elecion
Flashes was given modern technology ,Flashes's baked pizzas, imported the XBox Gen5 and PS VR2 and everyone thanked him for what they have now. He was soon invited to albion where the other nations were. He was greeted, the librarys were given extra funding and mini bars. It made them fun to go to. Then after a big part of time, it became what it is now. Without Samuel J Portaal, this nation would still not have the internet. However, they are still broke
