Frogan, officially the Constitutional Monarchy of Frogan, is a country in the region of Yvonne. It comprises of Avalon Peninsula, Spira Island, and the Great Southern Bay. The nation has a global presence as a center of culture, economics, the upper-middle class, and high education.
The written history of Frogan begins in 5000 P.I. However, Frogan was originally a product of two mega-nations: Fronada and Polo. These two nations merged in hopes of recovering from the Great Continental Depression.
Frogan's large government is a unitary constituional monarchy with a king and a parliament (called the Royal Frogan Parliament). Parliament members are appointed by the king and approved by the public. The nation's current leader, King Alec Frogman VII smoothly runs Frogan with Prime Minister Kevin Conway Hwang.

Geography
Frogan's diverse environment can be described as barren, but it is barren in a beautiful way. Soft, rolling hills cover the outer rim of Frogan while a majestic mountain range, known as the Whitepeak Mountains cut through the center of the Avalon Peninsula. Colorful flora and streams decorate Frogan's stunning landscape. A small desert, the Kalimari Desert, is located southwest of the Whitepeak Mountains.
Frogan's climate is generally mediterranean. Light showers and occassional thunderstorms occur once every two weeks in the outer rim. Summer hurricanes transpire in tropical Frogan, primarily in the Isle Delfino area.

People
Frogan is currently the home to four different species: the Frogshi, the Yoshi, the Koopa, and the human. These species live in unity, and racial tension is rather low. The Frogshi currently dominates the Frogan population, but population is virutally equal for all four species.
The Frogshi are descendants of the Hypello, a frog-like race whose origins trace back to Spira Island. The Hypelloes' genetic profile was altered after the meteor impact in 0 A.I, and thus, the Frogshi race began. Frogshies have above-average life spans and jumping capabilities, making them perfect for sports such as basketball, soccer, and tennis.
The Yoshi are also descendants of the Hypello, but they carry a more dinosaur-like appearance. Their origin is Yoshi's Island. Yoshies are athletic like their cousin, the Frogshi.
The Koopa is a turtle-like species who originates in central Frogan. Koopas have detachable shells that are usually left at home to store valuables. Koopas have impeccable jumping abilities, and in history, Koopas had the ability to fly. This ability reached an end after the meteor incident.
Humans in Frogan originate from Spira Island. In history, the humans lived with the Hypelloes in the cities of Zanarkand and Bevelle. However, war and the meteor shower brought an end to both civilizations. The human species was relatively unchanged after the meteor impact.

Communications
Frogan has an expansive communications network, with cellular phones and blackberries becoming a necessity to the individual. However, commuters on roadways are not allowed to operate a cellular phone unless their phone is equipped with Bluetooth technology. Major Frogan cities have free wi-fi connections, which allows internet users to access the internet from any location in urban areas. Hacking and spamming are slowly becoming less of a problem, thanks to the Information Protection Act enacted by the government in 2002.

Transportation
Frogan has an exceptionally high-tech transportation system. A government project in 1999 brought trillions of dollars worth of upgrades to Frogan's transportation system. Digital road signs, glass tunnels, longer-lasting pavement, and stunning landscape designs enhance Frogan's roadway system. The government is currently extending its transportation project into Frogan's railway and waterway system.
Frogan's road network is categorized into seven different levels: 1-way street, 2-lane community road, 2-lane road, 4-lane avenue, 4-lane limited-access avenue, 6-lane limited-access highway, and 8-lane limited-access expressway. Different speed limits and regulations apply for each level of roadway.
Traffic is a major problem in Frogan, especially in urban areas such as Frogo and Kevtropolis. 75% of Frogo's expressways have "elevated add-ons," an elevated expressway built on top of another expressway to ease traffic. The plan failed, and traffic has intensified on expressways. In 2003, Kevtropolis' mayor approved an advertisement program that encourages the use of public transportation, specifically the city's new high-tech monorail system. The plan backfired, and now railway traffic has worsened in Kevtropolis.
Frogan currently has 15 world-famous automotive manufacturers. Thees manufacturers currently hold 78% of the Frogan automobile market. Imports are gradually becoming more popular, with brand-names such as Honda, Acura, and Lexus becoming a familiarity in the Frogan automotive world.
Street racing was legalized in 2000, but accident rates have remained remarkably low. Crimes related to street racing have increased, however.
