General Anubis was the head of the Royal Anubinian army, and had been since it's formation in over 3000 years ago. A leading member of the Braki Tribe, he sided with Ra the Great and conquered all the other Nubian tribes in the area and formed the nation of Anubinia.
He is the oldest God of Anubinia alive, at well over 3000 years old. He is known worldwide as sporting a Jackal head, not to mention a very bad temper.
He has led the nation into numerous battles against it's enemies, and has also been refered to as the God of the Dead, stemming from his complete disregard for human life(his soldiers included) and is said to lead his fallen soldiers into the afterlife.
General Anubis was also a highly respected advisor to the Pharaohs Ra and Osiris the Great, and ruled jointly as Prime Minister with Crown Prince Horus.
But in the year 2052, Anubis was relieved of his duties after disobeying Horus' wishes. But he soon found aid in the form of Osiris' older brother, Set. Within weeks, Anubis and Set staged a coup, killing Horus and ended with Set taking power as "Supreme Pharaoh". Set respected the old General, and named Anubis "Supreme Commander of the Anubinian Army", and restored his status as Prime Minister.
Anubis commanded the Royal Anubinian Army against forces of The Coalition in the Dominion Wars, who were attempting to remove Supreme Pharaoh Set from power. After a string of successful victories, Anubis was killed by a small team of PSF marines who stormed his command bunker and killed him during the battle for Luxor.
He was laid to rest some time after in the large red pyramid on the plateaus outside of Luxor.
