Greater New Britain or better known as the United Kingdom was once a large succesfull Country well established in the international scene untill the formation of opposition by the generals of the armed forces and members of parliament who refused to go along with Britains decline from world superpower status. The UK had always been a superpower since the destruction of US forces in the American war of independence 1775–1783 and the successful incorporation of Northen American territories into the British Empire.

It wasn't untill the Wars in the east between China and her provinces did the UK realise the potential damage that a colonial revolt could have in the modern age. Ever since the nuclear terrorist attack on the city of Bejing in 1964, the UK had slowly began to give back the countries it had taken in the past.

Power hungary and selfish MP's and Military generals furious about parliaments decision to subside power to the colonies, took up arms against the Government and plundged the country into civil war. The nations the UK had once held, broke away into new nationstates whilst Britain began to crawl through a dark age of terror. The country was divided again and again by powerful men who continually argued with one another. Unimaginable acts of terror and cruelty were exacted on minority groups of British society. Families were torn apart and great cities crumbled under the continous fire from artillery and bombers.

In the year 2004 after a long campaign to end the civil war, Freedom fighter Lord Russell ceased control of London in a desperate attempt to re-establish democratic control. Months after, there was a huge nation-wide revolt around the country as battle weary troops and citizens came together to bring down the ringleaders of despotism that plundged the country into the darkness nearly 40 years ago. Lord Russell re-instated the new GNB government with the full support and loyalty of the country's people, who held on desperatly to this new hope of freedom. The new Liberal democratic government elected Lord Russell as its first PrimeMinister and was dedicated to fighting for the people of Britain and to ensure nation wide secruity. Never again would this happen to a country as long as GNB existed. Today in 2006, world superpowers are frowned apon by the people of GNB, seen as a mass of social, economical and political problems waiting to explode and plundge the world into darkness. GNB is the light, other countries shall see it soon. In time.
