Grippsholm used to be one of the many raiders of the NationStates world. He was with the region The DEN since the beginning (although he originally joined DEN as a whole when it was in its second incranation - DEN II) and was one of the original members that brought The DEN back to it's feet. He was the Field Marshall of The DEN until being revealed as an RLA spy by the ADN in April 2005 for unknown reasons. The remaining DEN members then fled to a new region, The DEN Base, where they have remained until now.
While he was a raider, he acknowledged admiring the Atlantic Alliance and his stated aim was to bring down the defender rule and usher nationstates into a new era of total DEN domination.
