Hasilthec is a large nation known for its strong-willed government. The dictatorship's agenda deals primarily with domestic issues, and wonders into international diplomacy only when necessary. It remains concerned on how to keep itself independent from other nations economically, however it is struggling to maintain this. Instead, Hasilthec is moving away from self-sufficiency and instead towards opening its ports for trade.
The dictatorship, headed by Guerin Haelensik, yields to the needs of those who contribute the most to the government. These people are often placed in powerful positions within Hasilthec's districts. The money often goes toward the military, or towards other means necessary to sustain the dictator's interests.
Those who do not follow the commands of the dictator or his officers often find themselves moved to the northern districts of Hasilthec, Mortec and Manchotec which are know for their inhospitable environment and blood thirsty penguins. Hence, Hasilthec is also known well for its strict punishments, which are decided by "Le Livre de la Douleur", which is updated yearly. Consulting the book is rarely necessary, seeing as citizens are rewarded by stopping criminals themselves.
Hasilthec's citizens are very proud of their dictator. It is mandatory to attend the ralleys for Haelensik and it is looked favorably upon if a family owns a painting of him. Because the citizens say only the best of their ruler, Haelensik finds elections to be a waste of money.
