House of Human Beings

The House of Human Beings is the upper house of the Legislative Convergence of Oglethorpia. While both the lower House of Homosapiens and the upper House of Human Beings have 900 seats, the upper house represents the various vague administrative divisions of Oglethorpia equally, as opposed to by population. While typically simply called representatives, technically members of the House of Human Beings are known as "Human Beings of the Upper House of the Bureaucratic States Legislative Convergence of Oglethorpia."

Prior to the unification of the country into the Bureaucratic States of Oglethorpia, the nation had a very loosely organized government in the predecessor state known as the Commonwealth of Oglethorpia; in X573, along with the creation of a strong federal government came a more well defined legislative branch. It also served to replace the old system of direct democracy with representative democracy under a federal system.

The House of Human Beings is, by its complete, full, unbridled and rarely used name, known as: The Esteemed, Quite Impeccably Flawless Tangible Representatives of the Citizenry of the Upper House of Human Beings of the Bureaucratic States Legislative Convergence of Oglethorpia. Along with the House of Homosapiens, the House of Human Beings meets in the Bureaucratic States Hall of the Esteemed, Quite Impeccably Flawless Representatives of the Citizenry of the Legislative Convergence.
