Bureaucratic States Hall of the Legislative Convergence

The Bureaucratic States Hall of the Legislative Convergence -- or its full name, the Bureaucratic States Hall of the Esteemed, Quite Impeccably Flawless Representatives of the Citizenry of the Legislative Convergence -- is the home for the Legislative Convergence, the legislative branch of the Oglethorpian government. It is located in Megalopolis City, at the heart of the capital's Megalopolis Plaza.

The Hall is marked by the sharp contrast between its elliptically-shaped, matching north and south chambers and its central pyramid rising above the roof. In its northernmost chamber, the 900 members of the upper House of Human Beings congregate; likewise in its southernmost chamber, the 900 members of the lower House of Homosapiens assemble.

History of the Hall

The present structure is the second to serve as the Oglethorpian capitol; the Ramshackle Shack Unfit for a National Government before it was in use for barely a year. Shortly after, construction started on 23 January X568 on the present Hall of the Legislative Convergence. Following the unification of Oglethorpia on 23 April X573 the Hall was completed, and a month after that on 3 May X573, the Leglislative Convergence assembled for its first session.
