The six Liverpool England teams in the IAFL are governed by the FALE and its rules, although IAFL rules overrule FALE rules where conflicting, except where the FALE rules apply to all Liverpool England players/teams.

Restrictions

There are some restrictions on the number of foreign players in a team, and the number of Liverpool England foreigners can be in a team.

  • Not more than 10 foreigners (defined as non-Liverpool Englander, Chacoran, or Crna Gora LivEng) registered on a team, of which no more than 7 can be in a starting 11 and no more than 2 can be on the bench. The foreigner registration restriction applies to all teams, however the foreigner playing rule is only observed in the High League, if the IAFL uses a different rule.
  • Liverpool England full internationals (have been selected for any single 'A' international match, where selected includes a bench role) are only allowed to move overseas with the go-ahead of the FALE. Non-internationals can move freely, while other internationals (under 21, Olympic/Ylompic u23 etc) can only move overseas freely to any nation ranked above 20 on the KPB scale; for teams ranked lower, players can only move with the permission of the FALE.
