Magnus Valerius is home to many distinct ethnic groups that are natives to the territories of the empire, but in recent times, a host of immigrants have settled in the nation. There are many distinct groups that are combined into a ethnic demographical lump known as "Other" in Valerian censuses. These ethnicities make up 1% (or 6,735,120 people) of Magnus Valerius's total population.

Korean Valerians

Koreans and Korean Valerians are immigrant Koreans that have established themselves as a distinct community within the nation. There was some contanct with Korea, as Valerian merchants began trading with Korea before the country closed its borders. The first true Korean presence in Valeria, however, will not be felt until the 1950s. After the turmoil that fostered the Korean War, many Koreans fled their split nation. Thousands poured into the nation and made their way to Isangrad. They established their first buddhist temple in 1958 with the help of the government, but once the migrants settled down, many began to covert to Eastern Orthodoxy.

Koreans continue to migrate to Magnus Valerius today, and the largest Korean-Valerian community is in Isangrad. 315,701 Koreans populate the Tsar Ivan I District, and many other communities exist in the empire. In all, Koreans and Korean-Valerians number 1,793,772 people.

Arab Muslims in Valeria

There is a thriving muslim community in Magnus Valerius. Arabs and Arabic merchants have been around in Magnus Valerius for centuries, but up until recently, there had been no significant community beyond a few merchant families in the ports of the nation (who eventually assimilated into the Valerian stock, anyway). In 1915, due to terrible intolerance by their Turkish overloads, the first ships carrying Arab muslims arrived in Magnus Valerius and settled in Isangrad. 1915 porters stated that "...these 8,129 Arabic peoples have arrived from prejudice and are to be granted freedom in our nation." The government allocated a plot of land for the new arrivals for them to build a mosque and to begin the thriving Arab Muslim community that now exists today in Magnus Valerius.

After the 1915 arrival of a significant Muslim group, there has been a steady stream of Arab Muslims arriving from various nations such as Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan. Most of the Muslim Arabs from the Middle East, though, can trace their roots to Jordan and Syria. These Muslims are primarily Sunni Muslims, with some Shi'a and Druze. The largest percentage of the entire Arab Muslim community resides in Isangrad in the Rose District of the city. The Grand Mosque of The Prophet is a beautiful building and is the chief mosque of Isangrad and of the Sunni Muslim population in Magnus Valerius; it was built in 1917 to accomodate the first waves of muslim migrants. In total, Arab Muslims account for 801,003 citizens of Magnus Valerius (with 255,492 living in Isangrad alone).
