Imperialis Our region was founded officially on the first of November, 2006. We adopted a theme of warhammer 40k, as servents of the Emperor of mankind. This theme has applied to nationstates quite well.

History

For thousands of years, Ancient Terra was wrapped in a series of Warp Storms which prevented all travel and communications to the outside world. Upon Ancient Terra however, a man rose from the masses to lead and develop them. Creating vast armies and developing technologies which none had ever seen before, The Emperor waited. Then in an explusion of pure raw energy which led to the fall of one Ancient Race, another Race was let loose upon the galaxy.

Quickly, the Emperor moved across the Galaxy, and brought the wayward human planets under his control. With the Emperor leading his armies in his "Great Crusades" the new Imperium of Man was invincible. With his sons, the Primarchs of the great Space Marines, the Emperor led his forces all the way to the very edge of the galaxy. However here, he decided to head back to Terra to oversee the construction of his new Empire. He left in command of his armies the most gifted of all the Primarchs, Horus.

Horus grew jealous of his father, and he fell into the clutches of the Dark Forces of Chaos. He then struck of deal with the Dark Gods, which he sealed with the destruction of the world Isstven V. Luring the forces Loyal the Emperor onto a planet, he destroyed them as they landed, and then headed with his Dark Followers to Terra itself.

Beseiged, the Emperor and a few loyal Primarchs fought off the dark horders of Horus. Sanguinius, Primarch of the Blood Angels, laid down his life to buy the Emperor and his supporters more time. However in the end, there could be only one duel. In the Emperor's Chambers the Emperor and Horus dueled. At the end, Horus was slain. But at what cost! For the Emperor himself was mortally wounded.

His loyal supporters, not wishing to see him dead put him on his throne and using archane technology long forgotten kept the Emperor alived spiritually but not physically. So there he sits, Twelve Thousand Years after that day, the spiritual heart of the Imperium of Man, to which a thousand souls must be sacrificed each day.

The Imperium is a sprawling mash of a million worlds, all that owe loyalty to him and him alone. By his divine will, inter-stellar travel can occur, and the perils of the Warp are kept at bay. All rests in his immortal grasp, and to him we are eternally loyal.
