Jelehem is a city located in west Morindira. It is the capital of the Thalan province. Jelehem is situated on the Neharot Bay.
History
Jelehem was the capital region of the Thalan Kingdom of Morindira. The region was governed by the Counts of Jelehem, who did homage to the King of Thalan. The Battle of Jelehem was fought at Jelehem on September 19, 1356, during the War of One Thousand Years (which interestinly only lasted three years). In 1832, Praetor Mara Murtakk captured Thalan and assimilated it into Morindira.
King Chala VII established the University of Jelehem in 1432, which is operation still today.
