The Socialist Union of Kerla is a nation that evolved from unincorporated area of tribes to a nation of equality. It is made up of 32 states, one socialist district and one inderpedent city. Kerla is known as a compassionate, devout nation, and the great social equality in the entire country. It is one of the known Socialist country. It is renown for its great social equality.

History
Kerla was once a region of the unincorporated tribes. It was not united and there were disputes. There were no central goverment. Kerla quickly become a absoulate monarchy in 1924. George Getson crowned himself, King George I. King George I reunited all the tribes together. Later and was repalced by King George II, his son, after a mysterious death. The monarchy lasted lasted for about 20 years and was replaced by a republic peacfully, as King George IV decided to abdicate his throne. The republic was more democratic. Life was peacful then. This lasted only 2 years. In 1963 Kerla become a dictatorship with Jefferson Davidson taking over, with the message that he know what was best for Kerla. In 1998 the United Front for Democracy and Socialism staged a rebellion. Led by Robert Brown, it was very successful. Brown was a general in the Kerlan Republcian Army. The country was reorganized as the United Socialist States of Kerla. Later in 2006 it was again reorganized as the Socialist Union of Kerla. Kerla today is known as the state with the most equality.

Kerla has shaped many foreign policies in its history. Kerla is one of the founding members of the Coalition of Anti-Capitalist Economies. It is also member of theInternational Fair Trade Agreement, theUnited Nations and the Anticapitalist Alliance.
People
People of Kerla are very diverse. Kerla has many influx of people from all differnt countries. The goverment is always wiling to allow anybody entrace to Kerla. Sometimes it can be hard, with all the ethnic tension, however it does work out. The tribe system was replaced by the Socialist community and culture present in Kerla. Kerla is also a very devout nation. Before Kerla was united under a single government, there were many missions. Before the united government, this was the only way to get medical help or any other social service. The missions were highly successful and converted many people. However Kerlans are very tolerant people and accept differnt religions and cultures. Kerla is known for their freedom of religion and have defended persucted people before.

Geography
Kerla for the most part, is relativy flat. There are no hugh mountains. The highest part is north central, right next to a mountain range in Pantopica. The climate is warm. The coldest areas are to the north, while the rest is warm. Kerla has a large influx of uranium depoists,as well as bauxite and copper.
Government
The goverment of the Socialist Union of Kerla is very complex,and is also unique. The Socialist Union of Kerla has three branches of goverment. The government is huge and represents the entire population. There are a lot of checks and balances in the government, to make sure that one bracnh is not more powerful then the other branches. Each branch has a specific role to play in the government.
Executive Branch
The executive branch consists of the Supreme Executive Council, in which the president is the chief of state. The Supreme Executive Council appoints the directors of the Executive Cabinet. The Supreme Executive Council also approves the appointment of the premier, by the National Assembly. The premier appoints the deputy premiers. The premier appoints the directors of the Executive Cabinet, while the Surpreme Executive Council approves. The premier is the head of the government.
Legislative Branch
The legislative branch consists of the Surpreme Executive Council and the National Assembly, in which the citizens of the states elect the memebers. The National Assembly is the main lawmaking organ of the Socialist Union. No other government agency can make laws. The National Assembly also appoints the premier. The number of members are the same for every state. Each state also has their own legislative branch.
Note:The Supreme Executive Council acts as both the executive and upper house of the legislative branch. However the Surpreme Executive Council does not have much power. It can only approve bills and can not indtrouduce any bills.
Judical Branch
The highest court in the Union is the High Court of the Union and the judges are appointed by the Supreme Executive Council. The chief judge of the High Court of the Union is the Chief Judge. This is usally the person with the most experience on the court. The lesser courts consist of the Court of Appeals and the High Courts of the states.
Defense
Certainly Kerla does not have an active military. However the Kerlan Red Guard is still active. However they act more as a law enforcement agency then military unit.
