Kirverda

Kirverda is a large temperate-arctic nation north of Kirav.

History

Kirverda was found by Coscivians roughly a decade before Kirav. It was first settled by seasonal fisherman, but later, trappers an merchants came to the area. THe first major permanent settlemets were organized into a group of colonies called "Coloniav Kirverdia"

Since early Kirverda did not have the rescources of the Kiravian colonies, it grew more slowly, and attracted fewer colonists. However, a large influx of Corçev immigrants, who were not accepted in Kirav, founded the Kirverdan province of Proçulonia. With the settlement of Proçulonia, the riverways to West Kirverda were opened, and Non-Coçev Kirverdans began to settle thre Western regions.

When Coscivia fell, Kirav and Kirverda were the only significant remmanants of the dead EMpire. The Kiravian kingdoms plunged into war.While Kirverda remained intact, raiders from the Tropical Sea began to attack Proçulonian towns. THousands of Corçev-Kirverdans fled South into Kirav. Kiravian settlers began striking out at border farmers in retaliation. Kirverda threataned invasion. Since the violence did not halt, Kirverda invaded Northeast Kirav.

When the Kiravian Civil Wars ended, the newly founded United Kingdoms of Kiravia ordered that the Kirverdan-occupied areas be returned. In exchange, Kirav would remove troops from the Unorganized Colonia.

in 1976 A.C., the United Kingdoms of Kirav and the Union of Kirverda unified into the Kiravian Empire. Both nations began expanding westward, and Kirverda began colonising the North Islands as well. Trade increased in the West, and Kirverda began to prosper.

Today, it is still a part of the Kiravian Empire and holds 2 colonies: New Kirverda and Kanadahar.
