Kroblexskij is a small archipelago just within the arctic circle.

History

Timeline

1195 AD - Krob Archipelago is first sighted and recorded by viking explorers. It is widely assumed that Haefflwyth The Finder, a noted norse explorer, first reached the islands. On one of his monuments, a saga is described as saying "And from the fields of ice, a vast sky full of rock aroze covering the sun, we took rest in a large bay to the east. On landing, a group of Skraelings were seen in the heavy woods."

It would seem from the description that Haefflwyth had encountered some of the native people of Arctasia, the Inuit.

1276 AD - Many Longphorts were built on the southern islands. Kroblexskij was a trading port and an established whaling centre. The Inuit, or Skraelings were accepted as inhabitants of the land and many moved into the vikings fortress towns to join them.
