Overview

Background

The People's Republic of Kundu is a quasi-federalist democratic republic located in the southeastern part of Amore Island in the Region of Gay. Over its history, the People's Republic has existed as several different entities. Primarily during this time, the areas that are now the provinces of the republic were the only government the area knew. These provinces were able to only provide a limited amount of infrastructure to the area. Worse, the area was prone to frequent invasion from external entities. With the national convention that met in 1816, a new government was formed, much of which is still in existence today.

The national government of the People's Republic consists of three branchs of government, the executive, legislative and the judicial. The executive branch is the both the chief administrator of the government and also the chief enforcer of the laws of the People's Republic. The legislative branch proposes and enacts the laws the of the People's Republic. The judicial branch applies the laws of the People's Republic through interpreting the constitution.:
