Labhekistan (Russian: Лабонкыятн), officially The United Socialist States of Labhekistan, is a medium-sized country situated in central Asia, below Russia and west of China. Its only coastline is on the Caspian Sea, but it is partially located on the Ural River. The terrain consists of semi-desert (steppe) and arid terrain.

Labhekistan existed as the nation of Kazhakstan until 2014, when the People's Socialist Party (PSP) took power. The civil war that ensued created the country of Labhekistan that exists today. Labhekistan has since become a member of the United Nations, due to its reversion to the former democratic system.

This country is one of the largest countries in Central Asia, but has one of the lowest populations, with only aproximately 60 million people. Emigration from the area since the 1980's has decreased the population, but many are starting to return.

History of Labhekistan

Dawn of the Socialist Era (2006-2016)

During the early years of the 21st century, Kazhakstan prospered during a period of economic growth and social development. Partnership with countries such as Russia and The United States of America allowed Kazhakstan to enter the global scene. Partnership with Russia at the Baykonur Cosmodrome allowed Kazhakstan to become one of the world's foremost leaders in aerospace technolgy. Education and healthcare were also drastically improved, and country entered a new period of social well-being.

Unfortunately, the democratic became increasingly corrupt and failed to represnt its citizens on numerous occaisons. Many began to long for the old days of socialism under the USSR. On June 1, 2016, a widespread coup was launched throughout Kazhakstan. Many government officials were killed, and the militart was split into factions along political lines. Eventually, after months of bitter fighting, the People's Socialist Party was victorious over the loyalists. In the east and west, parts of the country had seceeded or had been annexed by other nations. What remained became the United Socialist States of Labhekistan. September 1st, 2016, became National Founding Day, and the people of Labhekistan began the long process of rebuilding.

Labhekistan Today (2016-Present)

Today, Labhekistan is one of the more prominent nations in Central Asia. Its industries, including Autombobile and Aerospace Manufacturing, have become highly developed over the past several years. Despite the damage to the infrastructure caused by civil war, much has been repaired and much more has been created. Now Labhekistan's cities are clean and modern, equal to any city in the west.
