Leviticus is the first episode of Series One of the Spectral drama, Protagonists.

Synopsis

Lincoln Stewart, Sherylannia

Lincoln Stewart is standing over the deep fat fryer at his local McHartattack, when the manager comes out of his office to give him the good news. He begins to tell Lincoln that he is being promoted to manager. However, before he can finish the sentence, Lincoln wakes up in his one bedroom apartment. He gets up, and for a split second, his foot hovers above the floor. He dismisses this as a trick of the mind, due to exhaustion, and gets ready for work.

Later, Lincoln finishes his ten-hour shift, and drives home with his friend Lotta. They decide to stop of at the lake, and get drunk. After several hours of drinking, Lotta falls off of a small pier, and without thinking, Lincoln jumps after her. They laugh for a moment, before realising that they are hovering above the water. They dismiss it again, as an adverse effect of inebriation, and set off home.

The next morning, Lincoln has the same dream as before, only it doesn't stop this time. It carries on, and the manager notices that Lincoln is floating above the ground, and fires him immediately. He wakes up to see Lotta staring at him. She tells him that she knows what he can do...

Roxy Everett, White-Rose

Roxy is seen preparing a surprise birthday party for an unnamed female friend. As time goes on, Roxy and her companions become concerned as there is no sign of the friend. The phone rings and it is the hospital - the friend is in intensive care due to a yacht collision earlier that day.

Later, Roxy visits her friend in the hospital. Faced with the prospect of never seeing her again, she recounts her last memory of them together. The previous day is seen, where Roxy and her friend are out shopping. They stop for a drink and Roxy has hot chocolate, which causes her to become hyperactive. She takes out her marker pen she is known for carrying with her and scribbles seemingly random words in her friend's diary.

The scene cuts back to the present where a horrified Roxy fumbles through her friend's handbag and takes out the diary and checks today's date, in which 'sailing mishap' was written by her. Roxy is disturbed and runs out of the hospital room, hyperventilating. She drops the diary which lands open on a date three weeks from now. Roxy's writing there says 'Stardust City nuclear disaster'.

Abraham Starkers, Daveanoyl Chloride

Abraham Starkers awoke in his office at Retep ILLERtep's presidential campaign building. Using the surrounding women as a source of energy, Abraham begins to practice his invisibility only to get stuck in a phase between sight and translucency...his shoes remained in pure view. Abraham spends most of the following hours trying to explain the strange actions of his shoes when he was "using the facilities".

Mr. Carter, Dhatsun

Mr. Carter stands on a balcony overlooking the main dancefloor of one of his rave clubs. He recieves a call on his cell, speaking only the words "Yes sir." he walks to a lift, flashes his identity card to the scanner and passes through the doors. He stares at the camera with a cold look through his rimless glasses as the doors close.
