Protagonists is a drama series set in The Spectrum, and it is broadcast Monday nights at 9:00pm on the ISC (Interspectral Channel). It follows the lives of numerous people from regions all over The Spectrum, who discover they have supernatural powers. The pilot episode has been met with excellent reviews and has already gained a devoted fanbase extending outside The Spectrum itself. It is planned to resume the series during primetime.

Characters

Lincoln Stewart (Blaine Williams)

Lincoln Stewart is a candidate for promotion to manager in his local fast food establishment. He originates from Sherylannia. His speculated power is that he is able to hover a few feet above the ground.

Roxy Everett (Teresa Myre-Robinson)

Roxy Everett is from White-Rose, and she has an addiction to chocolate. Her power is that, whilst only on sugar rushes from chocolate, she may write seemingly random words on other people's possesions that foretell events that will happen to them.

Abraham Starkers (Mila Vangewilaminaadrewsanorvich the 5th)

Abraham Starkers is from Daveanoyl Chloride and developed an ability after being repetatively hit from women for his lude remarks. Working for Reter Illertep in his presidency campain, Abraham hides his ability to become see through though, like a true Chloridian, only in the presence of a charming lady. He is working on enhancing his ability from just women with little luck so far

Kazunari Toru (Salvador Solomon “Big Boi Chuck” Norris)

Kazunari Toru is from the Mushy Pea controlled region of O Re Sa Ma, who one day, while taking the day off work with severe constipation, discovered he could bend space and time. Sadly he soon discovers he can only perform this amazing talent when he is constipated.

Mr. Carter (Maximillon "Max" Howard)

Mr. Carter is the owner of Tertiatechno, a series of paper-making rave clubs in his home country of Dhatsun. Carter does not have any powers, instead he works for the Agency With Too Many Initials, closely monitoring these new superhumans whilst protecting his wife, who it seems has some mysterious powers of her own...

Unnamed Character (TBA)

This as yet unnamed character is rumoured to be from Buttery Boonswoggles. It is rumoured that they will be a traffic cop with the power to read minds, but dyslexically.

Nicola Schwa (Penny McShamus)

Originating from Oldham Road, Nicola Schwa is a down-on-her-luck street-stripper with an axe to grind. Her rumoured power is that if she looks down at her reflection in a puddle, she will black out and wake up surrounded by dead, naked men. However, many believe this power is an excuse for her out of control drinking problem.

D.J Willie (Hosea Nkuku)

D.J Willie is from Nintenduu 64. He recently escaped from jail after being charged for murder and robbing a betting shop. His power is the ability to pass through walls. However, he tends to get stuck halfway through them.

The Ti Ameran (TBA)

The Ti Ameran is a man shrouded in mystery, who works with Mr. Carter. He has the power to make people forget things that he's already forgotten.

Trivia

  • The rumour mill suggests that Ben Affleck was offered a role, then the producers stopped taking drugs and the offer was subsequently withdrawn.
  • It is believed that the show will revolve around a nuclear disaster in the Stardust City. However, inside sources suggest the show involves manipulation of the space time continum, so it will probably be retconned in a later series.
  • Curtis Haines of Knights of Justice was rumoured to have been offered the part of Lincoln Stewart. Also, Trista Delisle, from the same show is rumoured to be making a small appearance in episode 19 onwards.
