The Liberal Labor Party is the major left-wing party in Freedomstaki. It currently the party of government and is also the largest. The party general holds a variety of liberal idealogies both socially and economically.

History

The Liberal Labor Party was founded in 1967 from the merger of the Liberal Party and the Labor Party. It was decided by both parties that a merger would better serve their interests during the Conservative domination of goverment in the 1960s. The party has had control of the goverment since the election of 1994.

Stances on issues

The party holds a general liberal view point of social ideology with a socialist democracy economic ideology. However, there are some working-class conservatives who sometimes disagree with the socially liberal policies.
