MSNBC

The NBC Commonwealth Station of MSNBC was aqquired by Nanakaland via a purchace in the First Age of Nanakaland. It is used primarilly as a news nation, buying up the Nanakaland National News Network (NNNN) and making it the Nanakaland NBC affiliate. MSNBC has a separate station, but the traditional NNNN station seems to do better. The Nanakan Colonial Guard focuses much of their power defending this valuable nation as MSNBC and its sister nation NBC have no army.

The NBC Commonwealth Station of MSNBC is a massive, safe nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate, hard-working population of 1.782 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The enormous government juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Defence, and Commerce. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 29%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing, Arms Manufacturing, and Gambling industries.

The mining industry is making inroads into environmentally sensitive areas, the automotive industry soaks up huge government handouts, all major public areas are watched by police surveillance cameras, and military spending is on the increase. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is relatively low. MSNBC's national animal is the peacock, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the USD.

There is one thing that must be noted. The flawed UN report claims that MSNBC has a military although it has none. This is probably due to a United Nations accountant making a mistake when doing reports on MSNBC.

Nanakan Commonweatlh Nations

In recent years, the Nanakan Commonwealth has been restored. They are all semi-autonomous (except Nanakaland, which has full sovereignty) and some (but not all) share the currency, Nanakan. They share the same military (which is based primarilly in Nanakaland) and all Commonwealth nations follow the Nanakaland government.

The Nanakan Commonwealth nations are Nanakaland, Nanakan Labs, NBC, and MSNBC.
