Marcell Xerus

Marcell Xerus (born 1970) is the current Vitium Chancellor of Rexxarae - second to the Chancellor, Dr. Aelie Avernicus, the head of state. Xerus was born in Cezarius, Rexxarae, to a middle-class family. He was rather politically ignorant, not truly opposing or liking communism. In 1988, at the age of 18, Xerus was recruited to the army. He was seen to have a good athletic ability, a powerful intellect, an ability to lead, and most of all - discipline. Marcell's talent to obeying orders to the letter bought his seat in officer's school. He fought in the war of 91', which was fought between the Republic of Rexxarae and the republic of France. Xerus, then being a mid-ranking officer, was partially credited for winning the battle of July's Peak. An honored veteran, Xerus returned to a socially dioriented Rexxarae. He found his way to the leadership of the Victory Gate political party, which was the first parter of Salim Louiziano's Moslim Democratic Coalition. After Louiziano's death, Marcell climbed from number 3 to number 2, becoming the vice leader of the coalition, and after the 2001 elections, the Vitium Chancellor of Rexxarae.
