His Royal Highness, Prince Maslin Ganelon de la Courcel, Duc de L'Étoilesoir the second son and child born to King Dandre and Queen Yessenia. Currently second in line to the throne. He is a faternal twin, his twin being Princess Myrium. Prince Maslin is older by three minutes. They share L'Étoilesoir.

Though traditionally royal families like to have a "heir and a spare" they were not counting on twins. King Dandre was hoping for another boy, Queen Yessenia wanted a girl. They were blessed with both at once. It was clear at an early age who Maslin would shadow, his older brother The Dauphin Roland. This was not unwated attention by Roland, who like having a playmate. While his the dauphin was beginning to be groomed to be the next King of Terre DeAnge, Maslin was also being groomed. Though a younger son, Maslin became second in line to the throne upon his birth and such came with obligations and responsiblities. He was treated just the same as Roland in case anything happened to his older brother and thus making him the Dauphin of Terre DeAnge.

Much to his mother's displeasure he was sent to a military academy at the age of seven, after completing three years of private tutoring. He graduated early, and with honours, at the age of 16 and entered the L'académie de Camael, the D'Angeline equvalent to West Point. By the age of 20 he had graduated in the top 10 of his class. He then entered the University of Shemahzai where he recently finished his Masters in Public Administration, he also recived a Bachelors in Fine Arts.

Many in Terre DeAnge consider it amazing that he's accomplished so much. Considering that he is often abroad working with his brother and that he gets no special treatment. In a recent iterview Prince Maslin addressed this saying, "If you really want something, you must work for it. I've had to work extra hard for this. It just one of those things that when you that you can't slack on." After said interview the prince was seen at a party at the City of Elua residence a comte. When confronted he said, "I've work. Now its time for some relaxation."

The prince has been linked with various women over the years, from Sophie de Montrève, daughter of the Comte de Montrève, to Elaine Candé, a D'Angeline actress. It has been made clear though that any woman that marries Maslin would have support him in the diplomatic matters he is pursuing.
