His Imperial Majesty Meijis I Kalderis of The Grand Empire of Magnus Valerius (September 14th, 1920 - March 8th, 2000) was ruler of the Valerian Empire from July 21st, 1939 until his death. His reign was one of the longest Imperial reigns, with him presiding over an era of both war and vast prosperity. He was also considered to be one of the greater rulers of the empire. Meijis is also known as Meijis the Great due to this fact.

Early Life

Meijis was born on a cloudy September day in 1920 to Tsar Ivan III and his second wife, Shahrzad Artashad. Ivan III, inspired by the Emperor Meiji of Japan, named his son after him in a Valerian corruption of the name. Shahrzad was a Tabrizian noblewoman, of Iranian stock and of a Zoroastrian religious background. Meijis's dual ancestry of Slavic Valerian and Iranian Tabrizian blood shaped his life and made him appreciate both sides of his family. He was also noted to having darker hair than his father and some features such as his nose that coincided with his Iranian ancestry.
