So little is known about the mysterious man known only as Mercer that he has become a pyschological tool of intimidation by the Imperial High Command. Mercer answers only directly to Emperor Maderic Thra and is as lethal as he is mysterious. This unknown enigma haunts many men's minds when they fear they might be the target of an Imperial assassination. Mercer is the elite of the elite; the best soldier in a top-secret faction of the Colerican Imperial Intelligence Agency. His operations are known as black-on-black; intensely covert operations all over the world.
