Mestya is a province in east-central Morindira.

History
Mestya was one of the original 5 provinces created during the Morindiran Revolution on March 4, 1789. The name was changed to Mestya in 1791. It was created from part of the former Jaia Kingdom of Morindira. Its present name is drawn from the Steya river, one of the three rivers that run through it.
Geography
Mestya is surrounded by the provinces of Jaeda, Remistlin and Havlislin.
It has a varied landscape, with forested ranges of hills in the south and north separated by the valley of the Neharot river. The highest point is Collah-un-Garde (689 feet/210m).
The area has three main navigable rivers: the Steya, Neharot and Authion.
Demographics
The inhabitants of Mestya are called Jaians, from the former Jaia Kingdom.
Tourism
The horsemen of the Cadre Noir in Saumur, the M'Chaia Party National Headquarters, and the Party Cemetery with its Party Member tombs (most notably, the tomb of Revolution leader Natolya Valin) are all major attractions.
