Early Life
He faced a tough childhood under totalitarian leadership of Joseph Stalin, his paternal grandfather was sentenced to nine years in a gulag for witholding grain from the collective's harvest, he lived through World War II during which, starting in August 1942 German troops occupied Stavropol although they will leave in Febuary 1943
General Secretary of the CPSU
Upon the death of Konstantin Chernenko, Mikhail Gorbachev, at age 54 was elected General Secretary of the Communist Party on 11 March, 1985, deafeating Grigory Romanov who was considered the other favourite his hardest times was during the 1990's in August 1991 the Red Army did a military coup he spent three days under house addrest but was fried when the military gave back power he decleard himself President of the Soviet Union he resigned in 1991
Deputy Premier
after resigning the Communist Party of the Soviet Union was renamed the Communist Party of Russia he stayed out of political life until 2004 when he moved from Moscow to Gilbertgrad he visited Premier Timor Nikbaki and asked for a political job on January 1, 2005 Timor Nikbaki forced his son Vladimir Nikbaki to resign he did and Timor Nikbaki made Gorbachev Deputy Premier
