She lived there wih her parents until the age of 18 when she was accepted to The University of Windonesia on the presidential scholarship, where she majored in linguistics. Milchama then traveled abroad for a few years before returning home. She then got a job with the [[Cookeslandic Broadcasting Corporation|CBC]] and soon moved up the ladder. Milchama now works as the head newsreader for CBC.
