There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded individuals concentrates mainly on Defence, although Religion & Spirituality and Education are secondary priorities. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Woodchip Exports, and Retail industries.
Smoking is banned in public areas, teenagers across the country are celebrating the defeat of a national curfew bill. Organ donation rates are among the lowest in the region, the country's famous rainforests are being bulldozed by the mining industry, scenic mountain valleys are flooded with water as damming projects get underway, and private business has started paving paradises and putting up parking lots. Crime is moderate. Most Great Britannia's national animal is the Proud Peacock, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Mighty British Pound.
