The Most Magnificent Seal of Oglethorpia is utilized in all Oglethorpian government documents to denote their accuracy and authenticity. The Most Magnificent Seal was first devised in X583 after government officials began to take note of the exponentially growing amount of paperwork being sent between the various departments. Most historians agree that the first Defense Bureau Chief William Cheevson Guefaww designed the seal, but there is no concrete proof to corroborate or discredit the assertion.

While the Most Magnificent Seal is certainly not a coat of arms (as seen in its name) it is generally accepted as the equivalent of in the absence of a real coat of arms. Said current President Walter Stewell, "to most people it's the same thing, and that's all that counts."

Trivia

  • Interestingly, the seal has never been printed on any Oglethorpian currency.
  • There is no agreed significance of the three exclamation points; some say it represents the three executive bureaus, or the three heads of state, etc.
