Nation of Fortune enforces conscription of children from as soon as they learn to walk until they turn 35, with few exceptions, the children of the Major arms manufacturing industries (IE, Doherty Arms INC, The Eachan heavy armor factory, and Gaeth weapons INC) are spared from the military so that they may become the new heir to the industry, learning everything about the industry from when they are very little. Immigrants are often times employed by the arms industry, and local supermarkets amd farms are run by retired vetrans.

| − | The history of NoF is a long and complicated one, but after years of warring between themselves, The leader, Cyrus Lanier, brought together the warring factions, and quickly strengthened the military, putting an emphasis on long range patrols, scouts, and especially snipers. Cyrus had a military history in Haggis Induced Stupor of Camel Eaters, before he rose and brought peace to the warring factions in NoF. Shortly after he was discharged from the military, he found he had few skills besides killing and the art of war, so he joined a small terrorist organization in NoF, at the time known only as the Clan of the Cougar. His first mission was a hostage situation in a now dead nation known as the Genocide Lovers of Fruity Loops. He took over a school in hopes of getting some funding for the CoC, but things went bad and he lost his best friend, Toma, when he was struck by a piece of rubble from the colapsing building. Toma now resides at the Serenity Keeper an insane asylum. Cyrus then came back to NoF and quickly became the leader of the CoC, which then quickly started taking over other factions until they were to powerful to stop. Having siezed control of the government, Cyrus quickly did what he did best and militarized the nation developing new tactics, and methods of warfare. Having perfected the art of war, he decided to create a mercenary army, which became overwelmingly popular, and drowned out the normal army, thus he named his newly siezed nation the Nation of Fortune, doing a take from the old term soldier of fortune. | + | == The Mercenary State of Nation of Fortune == |
