Nedalia's highlight came when it co-hosted the Basketball World Cup IV with Sarzonia. Unfortunately, they lost all 3 of their group stage games, and failed to advance to the knockout stages. This was a result of poor planning by the Nedalia Basketball Association (NBA), who failed to set up the proper recruitment camps and had to scurry together an amateurish team to save face infront of the world. At the time, the Nedalia Basketball League had not yet existed.

Basketball World Cup IV

The team went 0 - 3, crashing out in the group stages despite co-hosting the event. This did not affect the attendance in the Nedalian stadiums, however, as each game, whether it was Nedalia or two other teams, was completely sold out. The Head Coach was Brahim Khalsan, who retained his job despite the bad showing.

HIGHLIGHTS:

- Despite starting the tournament as the Sixth Man, Howard Treeton, then 19 years old, quickly showed he was the most talented player on the squad. He averaged 32.3 minutes in the 3 games Nedalia participated in, leading the team in scoring with 18.7 ppg. He also averaged 6.3 rpg to go along with his 4.0 apg. He also showed an incredible knack for defense, getting 1.67 spg and 1.33 bpg, all this while shooting .523% from the field. Easily the only positive note to come out of this first ensemble of a basketball team that Nedalia put forward.
