Neptune

Neptune is the eighth planet from the Sun. Sometimes, because of the eccentric orbit of Pluto, it is the ninth. It is the smallest of the gas giants in volume, although its mass is greater than that of Uranus. However, its great gravity has compressed it to a smaller size.

Neptune has never been settled on any large scale and such a thing seems like it might be impossible with a gas giant. However, Der Angst, The Imperial Navy, and Roseway all maintain colonies on or around Neptune. Until recently, Skeelzania also controlled two barges orbiting above Neptune. These were lost during a diplomatic and miltiary scuffle resulting from an internal Skeelzanian rebellion.
