The New Exile is a fairly young nation that rose from the ruins of the nation, known only as the Guild. As such, the New Exile inherited the Guild’s vast cultural wealth, although many ancient traditions were devaluated or outright broken recently. This forces the New Exile to forge a new way. Will it turn out to be for the best, or for the worst? It remains to be seen.

The New Exile is officially leaded by Maestro Alvis Hamilton, who became a central figure in rebellion against the late Maestro Delphine Eracria. However, as Alvis is only twelve years old, the New Exile is effectively ruled by Consultation Council, which is made of four of Alvis’ most loyal supporters.

“Four” is also a symbolic number, a reference to the times when there were four noble families in the Guild. Now, however, only Hamilton’s family remains, and Alvis is the only living member of it; two other noble families were eradicated by Maestro Delphine, while Maestro Delphine herself was killed during the rebellion against her, along with her brother Dio Eracria, the only other member of Eracria family.

The New Exile’s army is unusual in a way that it is made primary of air force, which consists of a several air ships and several squadrons of strange star-like fighters; the latter’s retractable limbs allow them to function as ground force as well, and quite effectively at that. The Last Exile has no ground-only vessels, and while it has infantry force, it is only used as security force for various bases and buildings.

In overall, the New Exile is a technologically advanced nation, since they inherited the Guild’s technological achievements. Therefore, the New Exile’s army uses more advanced equipment then most other nations. The New Exile’s army is still weakened by the recent civil war, however, and even with its advanced technologies, it is not a power it once was.

It is important to note, that in addition to normal vessels, the New Exile has an unique and very powerful air ship, known as Exile, which can be helmed only by Maestro Alvis Hamilton herself.
