Shock Thong Cult

A wave of unprecedented reference, indeed reverence, to the humble thong has broken out in the region. About five days ago the Empress of Dis-quiet expressed her preference for thong clad male laundry workers. Since then, what can only be described as a "cult of the thong" has spread throughout our subterranean lands. Shockingly The Free Land of The gaoled have just re-named their currency to the Thong.

Leading financial analyst Ursula .R. Broke said "This irrational behaviour by the leaders of The gaoled is bound to draw the attention of political observers in the region. I can only see things continuing to go down (hill) for the people of The gaoled".
