The Transfer Status Level system is the official immigration scale used by the Imperial Security Bureau (ISB). It was implemented by the Imperial Senate of Nojika in 1990. The scale has made it easier for foreign nationals to determine their standing among ISB regulations and plan their visit to Nojika accordingly. All nations start at Level Yellow and their status moves up or down the scale depending on the strength or weakness of their relations with the Imperial Empire.

Level Description Example Nations
Green Nations in Level Green status have the most accessibility to Nojika. Traditionally, there is a convention that nations can only enter Green if they have been a strong ally of Nojika for 15 years without interruption. Currently, there are no nations that are considered to be Green by the the ISB.

Requirements of entry: Valid driver's licence (DL), birth certificate (BC) or student identification card (SIC). Biometric identification also available.

Blue Nations in Level Blue status still enjoy the same travel freedoms as Level Green nations but need to present an additional document to do so. Traditionally, Level Blue nationals are of nations with strong ties to Nojika. The Strategic Alliance of Autocratic States is, however, the only alliance that Nojika affords the same treatment as individual nations.

Requirements of entry: Valid passport AND driver's licence (DL), birth certificate (BC) or student identification card (SIC). Biometric identification available for some nationals.
Visa conditions: None. Visa not required except for stays over 3 months. Nationals who have been convicted of a criminal offence in the last twelve (12) months must enter a consultation appointment with the ISB to determine whether permission shall be given.

Yellow Yellow is, as mentioned, the starting point for all nations on the scale. Most nations that exist here have cordial or budding ties with Nojika, or Nojika simply has a neutral opinion on the nation and therefore still welcomes its nationals accordingly. Members of alliances that Nojika is a part of also stand here unless they have made separate agreements or overtures in which their status has moved up.

Requirements of entry: Valid passport and travel visa AND driver's licence (DL), birth certificate (BC) or student identification card (SIC).
Visa conditions: Visa is valid for up to three (3) months, refreshment of visa (through application for a new visa) must be processed at least thirty (30) days in advance. Nationals who have been convicted of a criminal offence in the last twenty-four (24) months must enter a consultation appointment with the ISB to determine whether permission shall be given.

Most AO nations
Orange Citizens of Level Orange nations are still welcome in Nojika but the process in which they may enter is lengthy and rather bureaucratic. Nationals must not only apply for a travel visa, they must present a completed Permission to Approach Checkpoint document when arriving at any border checkpoint. Even then, Imperial Security Bureau agents have the right to determine whether admission to the country will be permitted. In addition, the travel visa for Level Orange does not last as long.

Requirements of entry: Valid passport, travel visa and Permission to Approach Checkpoint documentation PLUS driver's licence (DL), birth certificate (BC) or student identification card (SIC).
Visa conditions: Visa is valid for up to two (2) months, refreshment of visa (through application for a new visa) must be processed at least thirty (30) days in advance. Nationals who have been convicted of a criminal offence in the last forty-eight (48) months must enter a consultation appointment with the ISB to determine whether permission shall be given.

SDL members
Red Citizens of Level Red nations are barred from entry into Nojika. If they attempt to enter, they will be detained by the ISB and are subject to immediate deportation and/or short-term imprisonment for violating immigration law.

Requirements of entry: None, entry not permitted.
Visa conditions: Not applicable.
