Noth is a conlang with grammar somewhat reminiscent of German, but with right-branching modifiers and postpositions. Word order is VOS.
An ancient language dubbed Zu by Igur linguists was spoken about 6000 years ago near the Black Sea, as evidenced by apparent contact with Indo-European speaking peoples leaving Indo-European loan words in present-day vocabulary. In the 17th century, Igur's predecessor Tiku was split into different dialects, each one influenced by the language where its speakers resided. Noth was largely unaffected and remains a more conservative member of the family, with much more complicated noun class and verb systems.
